Hey, I'd like to make a mod for Halo where

a) Only weapon you can use is the Sniper Rifle
b) No pistols allowed
c) No grenades on the map

Any way to do this?

heh that is probably the easiest mod well maybe not easiest but easy in iron forges offsets go to equpiment and replace everything (i think) with sniper rifle

yea, but would I have to make a modification for every single map file that I want to run in the mapcycle. I understand it would probably be really easy, but I'd rather have it work for only a specific gametype, so I wouldn't have to keep pulling files in and out of my server for matches etc.

Would it be possible to get it to work for only a specific gametype?

well u know the map snipers all you would have to replace would be say pistol and gernades then though in all maps ther would be no pistol (sept the one you spawn with)

go to the game settings and change it to all snipers? just a suggestion though

^^^doesnt that allow for pistols and wepons with zooms or somethin?

and then u just replace pistols with snipers and your set

Replace equipment grenades with sumtin like a flower or a snipa.

not to be hipocritical but hivemind and static u guys need to stop spammin up the boards....

I would think you could make the grenades and other stuff into certain things you could use for cover like rocks or something and then everyone would be fighting over the only two sniper rifles on the map

o yeah and you could make the damage of the pistol into nothing so you wouldnt have to change ti because i think if you replace a weapon with another weapon it doesnt work... at least it didnt work for me the time i tried it.

Ya. Can you use SE to move weapons? Like 2 sniapas right in middle and in beg 8 people from each side runs towards in and theres bloodshed and stuff. lIKE ww3
