Modding the UI

So I changed some bitmaps and stuff and tried to inject them using HMT3, it told me they must be DXT1. I had saved them as DXT1 in photoshop, and tried the other DXT1 options and stuff... no go. What am I doing wrong?

There's some maddness with HMT in bitmaps...
other DXT1 options and stuff
I presume you mean the Alpha Bit and the No Alpha or something...
Try saving as the other DXTs (Usually DXT3 works for me if it says one, or DXT5).

Hey, thanks. It's working for the most part (my extremely limited knowledge of PS doesn't help).

You have to check the little tag on each texture that says what it is. The error messages in HMT arn't specific and lie to a certain degree. So check above the save texture button, always.
