Changing ice to mirror

Can anyone here mod all the ice on halo pc to be like a mirror (ex. the walkway in the control room where you can see yourself if you look down)

I think it would look more realistic if it shows reflections of people, vehicles, senery, etc. on the "ice". To accomplish this you would probably have to mod the bitmaps file.

Hmmm, Its a shader that makes the reflecton on the glass on the Controll Room, so look in the shaders branch.

Very unlikely. There are no mirrors in Halo, if I remember. I do remember the devs joking about there not being any in the evolution video, or atleast very few.

I want to do all the maps with ice if someone could plz tell me how to do this with HMT 3.5 or whatever program.

yea theres a mirror floor (like on AotCR) and a mirror window (like on SC)

You can't do it in Halo PC, it's not possible.

Sorry, only capable with the HEK, because Dynamic Mirror clusters require to be spit-and-made as soon as the map is being converted to a proper .structure_bsp format.

You can also not have a mirror on a multi-edge-rotated plane. It needs to be flat.

Ha, also, if someone with this funny Halo PC modding stuff figured it out, you would have a shiz-load-of-FPS loss, and there would be a great-amount of lag.

It has to "double" everything, so to speak. I've tested and recreated many Dynamic Mirrors in my custom maps.

I never released one that had them, but I had pics. Stupid microtech!

I can take new pics, though.

Actually, the only map I released that did have them was The Lost Control Room...
