Q: How do you make marines explode on death?

I remember seeing a movie in which it happened in silent cartographer...but I don't know how it was done. Did he make the grenades they dropped armed, with a 0 second wait?

yes, he may have. I suggested that in another topic somewhere... the point is that it would work quite effectively :D

to do that i think all you need to do is get the grenade plugin for HMT and then make it from 4 to eight.

whatever it is called, it lets you adjust how many grenades you can carry, you can find it in the HMT3 PLUGINS sticky in the hmt forum

Okay, I've duplicated some turrets for a mod, but there isn't enough scenery to replace them with. I'm putting them in Ice Fields, but I don't want to replace the rocks and trees. I've tried to put them where the grenades and weapons are, but that doesn't work. The turret doesn't even show up in the map when I do that. Is there a way to add them in without replacing something else?

try taking the meta tag for the turret(copy it) and then place it where you want to replace whatever weapon (paste it over exsiting weapon meta) Try and make it a weapon that only appears once so that you can dupe if needed....ei RL or FRG

Actually, I want to place the turrets in the map by means of editing the scnr XML file and moving them using SE3.01. I don't want to completely get rid of a weapon from the map.

Question: I have an OBJ export plugin for 3ds max 6, but when I export, there are about 15 different options or checkboxes. Here's a pic:

Which checkboxes/options do I need to select to export a model which can be injected back into Halo?

i would sugest to not play around with that crap and leave it as is.
