i think earlier in the thread TAZZ said he wanted the weapons to LOOK like halo 3 not act and shoot like them

Yeah so what Dano is the skinner for CMT. One difference though He skins for Halo Custom Edition and TAZZ is skinning for Halo PC. PC modding does not have all the tools a CE modder can use. If Dano would share how to make them better and not be selfish and just criticize all the time maybe it would look better (I am not saying it is bad lol). Just because he is CMT doesn't mean he is always right.

all the tools? umm,.. photoshop? the only differance i know of is .tif vs. dxt =/

wow. You obviously don't know anything about CE mapping. GJ noob.

the methods of skinning in CE is the exact same as PC, only in CE you make a .tif, rather than a dds, all in photoshop. Then, you have to compile it to a .bitmap tag with tool. (Yes, I have knowledge in CE.)

He's better than you if he's in CMT. I don't see you doing any better.

and you said they had secret programs for skinning or something like that? well, how would you know? you're not in CMT. Why would they make their own apps if Photoshop can do everything that you need?

Theres no difference in skinning for CE or PC. case closed.

Okay. That was sarcasm btw...

If andrew can do better, I'd like to see it. I've known him for a while now, and I talk to him plenty on xFire. I know what his skills are/arent.

The best i've seen from him is exterminator, which is a great bsp for a first map. But lacks custom content, besides the bsp.

He's a great modder, but isn't at the skill level that CMT is.

Perhaps. But still, the custom mapping team doesn't beat everything. And they're a team. They can learn from eachother and get things dome faster as a whole. Hell, think of CtrlAltDestroy...I'm sure he alone could accomplish what CMT has (and CMT has needed his help..).

On a side note, I hate his grenade trowing animations. the all seem the same.

I never said i was better, just said they werent a team anymore...and then was proven wrong by something that happened the day before. anyways.

Im not on because i fell asleep when we were supposed to go somewhere. Parents took computer cause they thought i wasnt gonna go. Got dressed and went with them. Still dont get computer back until friday. (happened sat).

TAZZ any updates on how this skin is coming. People are complaining about the AR skin at halomaps.org
