Spartan Laser

Here's an idea- I'd do it if I had time.

Spartan laser.
Take the charge characteristics of the plasma pistol and the sentinel's laser beam- I suggest keeping the sentinel beam's firing effect for the charging part. Add those to the Fuel Rod gun. I looked around for a spartan laser and could find none. So...hopefully after all the flames are finished someone will read this and have the motivation to try it out. Please get back to me if it works out well. Thanks!

I made a spartan laser that had 3 second charge awhile back. Its in on of the more recent builds of my mod that i havent been going at. I even skinned it. Just needs a model.

i did that in my free time...it works pretty well, i bet you can change the color of the orange beam to more redish color

I want to know how. I got mine with 3 second charge, and the short burst of beams. The only problem is that you can still charge when its cooling off. Btw it looks awesome when you destroy a vehicle with the lazer!

i did, just skin the contrail. mine's pretty cool, and the firing is almost perfect, except when it isn't fully charged and you let go of the trigger, one quick beam comes out. btw i only used the primary trigger of the plasma pistol, so when it's charged it could shoot rapid fire beams during its dischrge period. any suggestions?

Hmmm i would use the plasma pistol charge thing and use it in the fuel gun rod then have it shoot a sential beam that does crazy damage

that's what i did... like i said, early version. heres the catch, catch, if you use the secondary fire on the plasma pistol, it only shoots 1 beam (lame). so i used trigger 1 and made it shoot in bursts, but big long bursts that require you to charge for a few seconds.

You use the plasma pistols second trigger, along with rof and spew times, which give you the streaks.

Mine was:

-Charge time: 1.2
-Spew time: 1.8
-ROF: 20

Btw I want that model, its way better than my fp spartan laser. I'll give yeh credit if you want.

um you had problems with the charging

(except when it isn't fully charged and you let go of the trigger, one quick beam comes out)
you can change all the tags to 0, and Projectile to NA or w/e

OR you can open guerilla and delete the first trigger

MUAHAHAHAHAHA

a bit more complicated with getting it into PC though

I have to say, excellent work!

Also, did you find a way to PMI an effect so that while the spartan laser charges, it has that blinding "star-like" light at the end of the barrel?
