unit hud backgrounds issue

k well i decided ot make a halo 3 hud so far so good... but then i notice i have to do unit hud background so i go extract dds blabla open it up in adobe copy paste from the normal amke it fit make the alpha then i go finaly then try to save as dds i click dds5 then get ready to do the save button and it wont let m eclick.... plzz help pic:
