Specifically I'm trying to stick a scope on the scorpion cannon. Simply changing the zoom settings in HMT does nothing, most likely because unlike other weapons, the cannon is not first person.
I know it is possible though, I've seen the 3rd person Halo mod, and it lets you swap to first person for aiming. Anyone got a tip or two?

sorry...
Unfortuneatly unless you want to be in first person from the cockpit of the tank (which you cannot see out of becasue of where the camera sits) then there is no possible way to add zoom too a tank without
A) Hexing
B) Doing it in Hek then converting it back too PC
Even then i dont think its possible but if you really want to you could go to the tank and click on seat 0 and change it too 1st person then add zoom too the tank weapon and see if that works...
but for what reason you wanted zoom on a tank i guess its not going to happen.
Trust Me

Did you read anything other than the first post fish?Goron40 wrote:Thanks for the help though. If anyone disagrees with this non-noob, please let me know... but I don't expect it.
EDIT: First person in the tank gives an interesting perspective (kinda like a real tank), but no zoom.
