im haveing problems rebuilding my maps........

every time i try to rebuild ANY map, it always take an inasanly long time to finnish rebuilding, and when im finaly done rebuilding, the . map file, it is always insanly large (im talking like 50,000 kb - 70,000 kb)and the map never works(i get an exeption), wot shuld i do? plz help!!!

......wait i solved my problem,

turns out i was just being retarded and was useing the wrong bsp/model selections....

but i still have another problem now

Im trying to pmi a flame thrower into silent cartograghper
but when im done rebuilding the map ,and try use it in halo, i get an exeption. so then i took the .map file into hmt ,and when i shecked the [mod2] tag, none of the models showed up on the prevew screens.then i checked the [weapons] tagthe only 3 wepons that were there was asualt rifle flame thrower and pistol.

what do i do to pmi a flamethrower into a single player map?

you have to rebuild SP maps differently than MP maps

i tried doing wot that tutorial sez but i still got an exeption

is there any way u cud find a more detailed tutorial?... mabe there is something that i missed?
