Hello everyone, I Was recently thinking of an idea for a mod. What if you could convert the pillar of autum into a Drivable vehical. The vehical actually to scale, So hundereds of players could fit in the ship, And 10 People simotaniously Took care of different Tasks while in the cockpit. Also, Make a Covonent Cruiser A Vehical. Create A huge space map, then have massive space battles. Just an idea, if no one likes it tell me, Id like some feed back please.

Sounds impossible and as of right now it is and anyway How would you, its way to big to fit anywhere in any map, unless a prog comes out where you can Make like a HUGE Map in space or somthing but as of now you cant so might as well forget it, till later on.

Yeah, i kinda Figured it impossable, but If it were possable i think itd be fun, With bording partys and Actual dammage to the ship.

So far I only got to the driver seat, not being able to drive, BUT! I do can sit in the driver seat.

um... you cant... the POA is just part of the BSP data... in layman's terms, the PoA is part of the wireframe mesh. it's not actually a model, and in the cinematics where it looks like it's moving, that's just that camera moving in a very deliberate way so that it looks liek it's moving... I think that's the same with the Longswords...

i see. Ive got other ideas, ill tell you about them too. if you like them, tell me. One other idea i have is a Double barreled scorpion tank,

hmm... make it so that it's double barelled, and shoots 2 shots... that would be kinda cool

or akimbo weapons, two AR's or pistols, Or mabye Matrix moves, Lunge to the side while shooting. Like in Max payne

Longswords are actual vehicles. I dont HMT on me to confirm this, but I'm 75% sure that they are in the vehicle listing in a10. And theres that dude who said he drove one...havent seen he vid yet.
Good ideas...when the HEK comes out, I'm going to port Planetside's Jackhammer over to Halo. For those who never played the glourious game, its a triple barrel shotgun with high accuracy and ROF.

Is there a mapping program where you can actually make your own map, not just modify the ones in the game.

You can make maps with the preferred free map tool, GMax.
Or you could shell out a couple thousand bucks and buy Maya or 3D Studio MAX.
But you cant put the maps in Halo. Yet.

Mrs. Doubtfire created a map based around New Mombossa (that city). Check gearboxsoftware.com's forums. It has around 30 or 40 replies.
