What is DXT2??
i was making a skin in paint shop pro 8, i saved then it said somyhing about it has to be DXT2 or DXT3... what does this mean???? plz help!!

Oh yes.
Certian files when being injected back into Halo need to be in certain formats.
For example, when you save a file as a .dds file in photoshop, a message appears asking what type.

In this picture, it shows the options.
DXT1 (No Alpha) --------------------- Never select that.
DXT (1 bit Alpha) -------------------- This is what you would select when exporting a weapon/vehicle skin.
DXT3 (Explicit Alpha) -----------------This is the only other option you should ever choose. If it does not work on DXT (1 bit Alpha) then it will work on this.
The Rest ------------------------------- Pretend they do not exhist
