Great AI

Post by Sparx139 »

Hey, this is a really great AI pack for Halo, with AI on Blood gulch, Sidewinder, Hang 'em High, Longest, Battle creek, and probably one or two more I can't remember.
Once again, it isn't mine, just something I came across when searching for mods on other sites.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Here it is if you want to have a look first, theres a video on the top of this url:

http://halo.snaver.net/modding/h1x/mpack.php

It's a pretty big download (as in several hundred MB) but it's worth it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now for a bit of details and observations to save people time:

There are two teams of marines, one is armored and the other is the marines with bandannas and bucket hats.
Armored is the red team, and other is blue.

In free for all matches, people with odd numbered controllers are on the red team and even are on blue, but this only affects whether the AI will shoot at you or not.

Just a tip, turn off suicide penalty, because it's annoying when you have a fifteen second respawn.

You need to trigger the AI into action before they do much. Just lob a grenade to the other team of marines and they'll start shooting.

The best thing with this pack is that the marines can play in any weapon settings, except for rocket.

Marines use:

Assault rifle
Shotgun
Sniper Rifle
Plasma Rifle
Pistol (a few glitches with this, where they stop and spread out their arms and legs)

Also, the marines will adapt to whether there is infinite grenades on or not, and they like explosives if its on :D

Oh, there's also a rocket warthog like in halo PC.
