Someone tell me I'm not imagining this. The Halo 2 track 'Peril' starts when James in reviewing the new Jag, about 4 mins through episode 10, series 10. If you're in the UK like me, here's a link for proof:

Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only, but all BBC iPlayer Radio programmes are available to you. Why?

If you are in the UK and see this message please read this advice.

Go to Radio channels home page

That came out a year ago, but yes, a cool occurrence. Peril is probably one of my favorite songs from Halo.

I used to listen to the soundtrack all the time! Maybe I should play them again... Always loved Martin's work.

I had always noticed this, but never thought enough of it to say something.

Peril has always been one of my favorite Halo song, and it's great for calm, non-intrusive background music.

Most likely.
As if it even mattered.

If they didn't ask permission, I doubt anyone would notice. It's played for a few minutes at low-ish volume while James May is talking over it. It's not like it's prominently featured or part of a recurring theme.

The BBC is all-powerful when it comes to using music.
I can't remember the subtleties, but it's why on BBC America, the soundtrack is different. Not as much BBC power.
