How Many here think it is wrong what Microsoft did to The Makers of Halogen?

I know this is VERY late (sorry)

tell me (or others) why you think Microsoft has wronged themselves and should have not closed them?

BTW if bill gates sees this I have one thing for him, you don't have the right to do this, Halo Came out AFTER you bought them and you got rid of them after Halo 3 so as I see it. Because they made the idea first, they should be telling you to stop on all work of Halo wars, Their Idea not yours

Microsoft owns the rights to the Halo titles, they can do whatever they want. You have no factual basis for any ridiculous claim you are making. Quit whining about such a trivial thing. You are wrong, that's it.

Yes, Halo was made under the Microsoft ownership, which is why Microsoft owns the Halo titles. You just defeated your own argument because you don't know what you're talking about. Furthermore, you see it incorrectly. They did not get rid of Bungie, Bungie opted to become an independent company once again. More ignorance is rampant here.

I'm sorry but I just looked at my Halo Box and CD and the cover. I don't see COPYRIGHTED ANYWHERE on it.

This is a fan site, it is not the same as making a title with the copyrighted name. However, they could shut this site down for other reasons, unrelated to what you're saying.

That's a very dumb thing to say. Are you insinuating there are no copyrights on the Halo titles or content? How about you ponder that for a while and get back to me when you realize how untrue that is.

Yes, we could. We are circumventing copy protections, which is illegal. That is true. However, you compared the situation to Halogen, which is not the same.

You are missing the point, again.
They were mirroring Halo content, using the copyrighted material of the ideas and title. Just because you make it yourself does not give you legal right to it. I can't model my own Master Chief and use it in a game, because it is still a copyrighted entity by Microsoft.

You don't understand the first thing about how copyrights work, so I suggest you quit your frivolous arguing while you're behind, as you're going nowhere.
