Halo Trial on Vista?

Post by bibbit »

My Halo Trial doesn't work on Vista. It loads up to the giant Halo logo, then an exception occurs. I have heard of other people getting this to work, and a lot of them say they downloaded a patch, but when I try to install any patch, it says "Halo is not installed." So answer me this:

1. Has anyone here gotten this to work?

2. Is there a specific "get Trial to work on Vista" patch? If there is, I'll have you know I searched for half an hour for it, so don't get on me for not searching.

3. If there is no specific patch, then how the heck do I get it to work?

I hope I put this in enough detail, any answers will be appreciated. And if you're just going to say, "Mow a lawn, buy the full," then please get out. You are not helping.

your vista is probably making a mistake thinking it is pirated it is stopping it from running or trying to delete it does it with programs and music its annoying.

No, if it thinks it's a pirated program then it doesn't open up at all. It doesn't give you an exception error.
