text not showing

when i start up halo and join a server, the text on the screen isnt showing. i cant type or see who i killed. i just i nstalled halo today after a system reboot. could someone please help?

Run the file: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\msxmlenu.msi. After the window opens, follow the instructions to install the software. If it already is installed, uninstall it and install it again by opening msxmlenu.msi a second time.

i did what u told me to, but now there was an error. and it couldnt install
