ok so i am in sidewinder and im all alone with 400% health...
im trying to get on top of sidewinder without the banshee.. so i was in the tunnel..

im on top of a worthog that i parked under the ceiling thingy and i throw a plasma nade.. wait 3 sec then shoot a rocket.. i go flying but dont make it...

and you know how the environmental sound of sidewinder eventyually it makes a sound like a sigh? well it kept kreeping me out...

then i give up and try other things.. then when im in a ghost riding all of the sudden a nade blows up and sends me flying.... i dont know wtf happened

I think there's an easy answer to this. When you shot you rocket, the grenade went flying off somewhere really high. And usually the grenade only activates the fuse after settling down on the floor or on a target. So when you got blasted out of the hog, the grenade flew out of site, you thought it had blown up and while riding the ghost you happen to pass where the grenade finally landed. Otherwise, I really don't know what happened .

But your not the only one, something equally weird happened to me: I was playing a MP game with strangers on Icefields (CTF) and I was reading in the chat that apparently someone was cheating (or I assume he was, I hadn't seen it for myself) and so I didn't really care about it. Then later on, a red guy approaches our base and Im standing in the Machine gun turret of the hog shooting at him, and all of a sudden, I die, shot down by three sniper bullets from behind!!!! As far as Im concerned I don't think anyone sneaked up on me (even in camoflage they appear on radar) and if I remember well enough, I was quite close to a wall (no one can sneak up between me and the wall without me seeing it, common!!!) so my only possible answer is that from a certain point on the map, the "Hacker" shot me thru the wall!?!?!?!?!? that freaked me out.....

correction. you can evade the radar in pc as well.
just takes practice.
I remember when i was playin against flak once in teh Anti Noob HQ mod,
i ran behind one of the bases and stopped movin, i dissapeared of the radar, then i crouched and lightly tapped my forward key. by the time he was in the t middle of the tunnels, i was in a tank havin fun.
