ATI is probably the best brand right now, read some reviews and compare it with other Radeon 9000 series cards see what you'll miss or get.

I also got a question about video cards. What was the video card that Bungie and Gearbox used while making Halo?... cuz that would probably be one of the better ones for playing Halo, except for the $450 ATI cards at Future Shop ;)

Oh, and if you look in your config.txt file in the Halo directory, theres this:

0x02a0 = "GeForce3 XBOX"
if os < Win2K
if driver==4.13.1.1260
InvalidDriver
endif
if driver < 4.13.01.4071
OldDriver
endif
endif
if os == Win2K
if driver==5.13.1.1240
InvalidDriver
endif
if driver < 6.13.10.4071
OldDriver
endif
endif
if os > Win2K
if driver < 6.13.10.4071
OldDriver
endif
endif
break

(sry about the long post :X )

Hey superfly just curious, on keyboards in the U.K. do they have the pound sign on their keyboard instead of the $ sign? or did you just get yours from someone in the U.K.?

So instead of this, #, sign?

BTW # is a pound sign too out of coincidence.

I prefer the Radeon's to the Geforce, from having a geforce and now having a Radeon 9600 SE I prefer them cos it runs faster and isnt as loud as a Geforce

well...if u want a really good one go for the ATI Radion 9800 XT...that thing has a nasty overdrive option that will gently push the speed to like 900 MHrtz. The one I would really gp for it the ASUS Radion 9800 XT though...if u overclock it is will run just over 1 GHrtz
ITS NOT 500 DOLLARS for a 9200
u are right...the 9800 XT series is 500 dollars....the 9200 is like $80....lol....yeh he does not know what he is talking about...but if u are on a budget then go for the 9600 SE....(not too much money) :)
