HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i modded halo with the library and halo 2 by nitro
now i can only use 1 server which inly runs halo 2 blood gulch
i went to revert it and i neglected to back up anything
so i tried to take a backup i had made before i started modding
but then i realized i had messed with that too
so now i want to pull my saved files for SP to a new directory,
wipe halo off my harddrive, reinstall it, and then return my save files
the geniuses at bungie however had the idea to make every file a bunch of frikin numbers
can someone please tell me which files to pull so i can do this

ok i screwed up again dudes
i trashed my cd case and yea reinstall has now become impossible due
to the fact that i no longer have my cd key
can any1 tell me if i can find that in the game files or am i royaly screwed

Um...nope, you're most likely screwed, but you can try to search for it in your files and folders.

I'd have a look at the DigitalProductID and PID values in the registry [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Halo]. Perhaps this can help or perhaps not, worth a look atleast.

When you reinstall, most likely the game will let you choose if you want to remove the save games.

thanks for the help i went under add/remove on the autorun and it gave a restore corrupted files option so i didnt need the cd key and still hav the sp saves
