I've noticed many users do not use the HEK for many reasons, and most of them I understand.

You can't edit the original maps.
It takes longer than 5 seconds.
And other crap...


Well, basically, in CE, we are able to convert our original CE.map files to tag editable format.

So, if we dis-compiled all the original Bungie and Gearbox maps, would you guys like to take a good try at the HEK?

Once dis-compiled, you download the pack, extract, and you can add custom content to the original maps. You can also mod it, but with like 100 billion more features than the average HMT modding.

Never release how you pushed them back. Only release the pushed back files. That would be awesome. I relaly think that would attract many modders of HaloPC onto HaloCE. Great idea, and i hope you can figure out how to do this
