Remember when Bungie first decided to create Halo? Remember the old weapons it had? Halo has went through great changes hasn't it, I mean you can't doubt the fact that halo's gameplay, weapons, characters, vehicals, scenery, etc. has all been shaped differently over the years.
Bungie has tried and tried to push the limits of Halo's gameplay, and they obviously seem to do it every time! Yet, there is always something stoping them from showing their best work - and that my fellow modders is time. Yes. Time.
I remember viewing the guass-hog, gravity wrench, the flamethrower, the smg, the (human) sword, the spear-launcher, and many more ideas that never reached halo.
I want this post to help me:
1) discuss the halo which we never had the chance to see
and
2) gather an elite-halo modding team which will allow us to try to recreate what bungie had never started
I want to try and convert the old weapons, and perhaps 3 of the vehicles that were never introduced to halo.

Please post why you would like to help and how you can help me with this project.

I just flat out think this is an awesome idea. I don't think peopel have tried it before. I'm with you all the way, buddy!

Yea, I a long-long time ago when Halo 2 was around when it was first announced, they said the Covie Sword was pick-upable, and that the Humans had a Machete, does anyone know what happend to it, I like machetes.

ya they had a SMG and a AR. this wouldnt be such a bad idea but i never heard of any vecs?

Also, try downloading some movies of the old Halo because that will give you in-sight how everything was... And stuff

hmm thats a good idea someone should make a map or mod for it but i think it should be a map

im not so great with yah know... making maps....
but i would love it if we could remake the lvl deadlands
which was the e3 map they presented and was also the map u could see by downloading the old movie that shows the really old halo stuff, u know

TOH- the old halo (could be a name for the group)
im doing a trial mod for this experiment
and im having a problem with the needler i want to make the needler the spear gun - and to do this i dont want the needle to explode or detonnate- so i tryed getting rid of the explosion counter- didnt work- it randomly exploded when ever it felt like it
