question about profiles on halo pc

Anytime i log onto my profile, i see about 200 or less people playing, and i thought that was normal since halo 2 is out. However, anytime i log onto my brothers profile i am shocked to see over 1000 people playing.
Wassup with that?

When you log on to multiplayer does it say Halo PC 1.05 or 1.06? There is a new update for Halo you have to install from the Bungie site since it won't install through the updater.
Go here and DL the hot-fix v1.06 file---->

It says 1.06 but that makes no difference because when you dl an update it updates all profiles, in other words all profiles must be on the same version.
And yes all filters are off for both profiles.

maybe you have filters on? EH? i have no idea thats weird, do you guys live in the same house? if not then maybe youjust can't connect to them so halo doesn't list them...

We do live in the same house. It is two profiles on the same computer same copy of halo v1.06. Also,
