Is MasterChief a cyborg?

No, hes human.
Back story
The Mater Chief is a spartanII. Based off the original Spartans from early Greek(something like that, time to read books again).
So at 6, the Master Chief(John) was taken from his family, and put in bootcamp. Where 150 other people were put. They trained there entire lives to fight. The got inhancements like Steriods(Many died during proscess), and the amor makes them faster.
So Humans that kick ass

HE IS A cyborg...in HMT why would you edit the cybord to edit master chiefs jumping height ect??? HUH PUNK

Well than Monoxide was wrong. Who are you going to believe. Bungie, or some guy who didnt make them game. Hes a human. Read the books, youll understand.

Read the Halo books by Eric Nyland
Masterchief was a normal human. Perfectly normal.
The UNSC needed a new type of soldier. An elite pinpoint strikeforce that could overwhelm, overpower and out manuver other forces (namely the rebels in an asteroid field)
A department headed by Dr Catherine Halsey created the Spartan II program. They selected and monitered many children (assumed well over 300) but they only had the money to select 150 six year old humans and bring them to a training facility on the planet Reach.
They were trained harsh and to their maximum potential. It sez at one point in the book that they were only 14 but had the bodies of 18 yr old olympic atheletes and the minds of honors students.
As you can see they would alredy make great soldiers but Dr Halsey took it a step further and introduced bio engeneering, chemical etc etc upgrades that took them from elite humans to SUPER HUMANS.
there wer 5 proccesses that increased muscle capicity aka strength, super vision eye sight, faster healing, super fast reflexes, and somink else i cant remember. There were risks involved and many died, about 70 survived.
The UNSC were succesful in creating Super Soldiers but it wasnt finished yet. The introduction to the MJOLNIR project, gave the spartans a hightech armour suit that was the most advanced piece of equipment ever. It had special reactive plates that multiplied their reflexes and strength and lots of other things. Later on, a new version was made with refractive shielding technology based on jackal/elite covvie shields.
Then just b4 H2 begins a new version is made with more stuff.
