i might get an nvidia 5700 ultra for mybday, right now gfx sux on my comp, wonderin if 5700 ultra good...if anyone has that card u mind takin SS of some maps from halo for me? thanks...also wut gfx u guys all got?

I have the nVidia GeForce FX 5700LE, and you're thinking of getting the 5700 Ultra, the only difference is a higher clock speed, and DDRII video memory, so prolly higher fps. So, you'll be looking at something like these fifteen pics.
You'll get around an average of 28fps on a resolution of 1024x768 with everything enabled and on high.

kewl looks nice!...my current gfx doesnt even show the little grass on BG or other grass on maps, only green like brushed...sux!!! anyway i like the gfx maybe i get 5700

it is a decent card, not in the league in the X800 Xt cards...but it is ok...

Yea but its a good card for a good price, its a winner. i got nvidia 5600 wich is just a tiny bit less good but its almost impossible to see a difference.

person who has the good graphics card...

i have an ati radeon 9200 and it gets graphics as good as yours...
512 mb of ram... i have never had lag issues

Well yeah, if you just overclock the 5600 from www.guru3d.com you have pretty much the same thing.

Depending on where you buy the 5700LE, you pcan pay anywhere from $129.99 to $179.99. I payed $159.99 for mine.

went to best buy yesterday, saw the 5700LE for $129.99

yeh, for that much, i would consider buying it...

it looks good, but i had the nVidia GeForce something or other...
it worked great, but my compy didnt have enuff ram to play the explostions of the rocket launcher or grenades or fuel rod guns...
so id say go for it.
that looks pretty dang vivid.

i have the 9200 radeon.. is that good compared to what you guys are talking about? i dont really know the nvidia series

i just think it sucks cuz im gettin a radeon x800 for $400 but its worth it i already got a athlon 64 proccessor i just have to keep up with technology im happy

it does come with software. i got remote wonder, dvd decoder, multimedia center with file player, dvd player, cd player, with assorted skins, 3d screensaver, about 5 or 6 non playable demos (just some random movies in 3d), some multiplayer game that looks gay, and hydravision. oh yeah, and real player.
