I can't seem to get some collision models to line up with the actual model or sometimes the collision model will shrink. Can someone tell me how to fix collision models?

You have to be able to by hand. Other people have. For instance, the Banshee mods. If you just import the coll model, the vehicle acts weird and the weapons fire wrong. But, they fixed the coll model. So I was wondering what you must change to fix it.

The only reason the collisions were acting weird (with the OLD banshee mods) is because the model wasn't injected perfectly. If the model was injected perfectly, then all you need to do is inject the coll model and it will also be perfect.

Well, thats weird. I used Xinject to inject the models and the collision models. The model looks right but the coll model doesn't line up/fit with the model at all.

Well, with coll models, it isn't just Xinject I've had probs with. I can't inject certain collision models with any of the programs. For instance, I can't get the elevator from 343 GS's collision model. With Xinject, HMT3.5 and HHT, it isn't the right shape. With HXE, it will either freeze when I move close/shoot the object or the object won't have a collision model at all.

I do not use Xinject as it sometimes doesn't inject things good for me. Bitmap injecting is also a giant pain in the ass. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it fails. I don't use any automatic injectors anymore. I find it just in a way, slows me down. I just HHT to inject meta, and HXE to inject bigger things. Those are amazing programs. Don't get me wrong, PMI and Xinject are amazing too... it's just i find it easier to do it manually.

How do you do it manually? Are there any tutorials or anything?

I have no idea where to start, we're talking about taking a model from another map and putting it in a different map, right?

How do you get the model out of the map in the first place?

Ya, I smoke rocks.
