AI: Campaign Simulation.

Post by thinkreddie »

Well, gents, I have a friend that is constantly itching for some Halo action. Therefore, I decided to make mods again. This time, I'm shooting for an idea similar to Wooden Dragon's Multiplayer simulation. However, as the name suggests, this will be a mod that will give MP maps missions, like the SP maps. I already hav one mostly completed.
Now, my question to you: If I took the time to polish and beutify it, would anybody want some Campaign simulations for multiplayer maps? You'd be battling elites to capture flags, with more elites helping you to get through... And other stuff. Some of these will be meant to play alone, others will be meant to play with one friend.
So, how 'bout it, guys?

Thanks, guys!Right now, I have an un-beutified version of AI battlegulch. In this map, the objective is to capture a flag while dodging angry elites.

I'll write a script that will balance out AI teams of elites if player 2 shoots a weapon, just in case y'all want to go at it alone.

Sounds awesome. I've always wanted to try something like this. Any more news/progress? :D

Btw, are you doing the scripts via a similar method to the ai; creating them in CE then just copying the relevant bits of the scnr over?
