HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I have been opening up the slayer file from my game variant and then changing things in it. After that I click on save gamtype and ftp back to box but i get errors and end up deleting game variant. what am i doing wrong?

1 you might be opening the wrong Halo file

2- well i'm sure you know its intentioned for Halo 2

3 ah I foreget lemme do a test I used to get the same thing..
I used to know how to fix it...

it was something in the settings..
oh yea... sometimes editing it on Halo 2 itself can screw it up.

I read somewhere that you have to do it all while its in winrar format or something.. and thats what I always did..

anyways doubt, but hope this helps.. sorry its been a while

I don't think you can use Sav3r with Halo 1.
