modchips
almost any of the ones that are left on the market can be switched off. xbit, I recommend only because of the large 2mb flash. The others, executer, whatever, they also have the switch. besides, all you need to do is wire in a switch on one pin, the one that shuts off the LPC port on the board.. this will deactivate your chip.

I would try the no mod chip exploits!!!
They are awesome and definetly work..
I now have an xbox/n64/ps2/nes all thanks to the exploits....and can easily mod halo...and the best part is i did not have to even think about opening the case...its awesome
