Music injection

I am trying to change the music for the title screen, using Halo Map Tools v3.5. I was just wondering how to do this? I just want to know if the music is actually in the "Sound" section, and how to inject it? I've tried importing a .wav formatted sound, but get an error message that sais:
Invalid Header:
You must choose a valid ADPCM encoded wav file.
Any idea how to convert of modify my sound clip as to make it compatible? All help appreciated.

Download the xbox codec and use riverpast or a different sound converter to convert it to the right format.

I have downloaded that codec, and I have the music converter. I have converted some sounds, but I get a new error trying to import track. The message says:
"Could not import the file for the following reasons: Sample rates do not match"
What do I do now?

I would assume that means the clip you inject needs to be the same length as the current sound clip. Try making your clip the exact same sound as the main screen sound clip, and see if you can inject it.

Well, I had compared the size of the original and the new sound, and they are very different, (1.57mb to 642kb / 0.37 minutes to 1.13 minutes). What I am trying to do is change the music to the user interface. Could I just try and combine more songs into that one track to cause sizes to similar, or is it not possible to change the music in the ui?

It doesn't matter how big it is, if you're using HMT it will automatically cut off the extra for you... That error means that you didn't set it up just right, you have to make sure it's the same style as the one you're injecting...

PS. Link to this "Audio" codec? Or does it come with HMT?

Here's the link of where I found mine:

The codec is the first thing on the page. Download, and install.

Heh, no problem. Glad to see some people still messing with Halo 1...
