this really f*cking sucks

while i was locking my xbox hd in my comp i acidently
locked my one and only computer hd. so now i cant use my comp NOOO

can someone please help me please

Um, locked your cpu HD? LOL, ok I know for sure there a way to unlock your HD, it been done before, but may I ask what program you used to lock your HD? Didn't you assign a password to the HD?

i think i can help you though... I need to know what program you used to lock the harddrive in the first place. Did you do it in DOS with hdlock.exe and those programs?

If you have the unlock code or used hdlock then you will be able to unlock the harddrive. If you used hdlocl there will be a file called hddpassword that contains the lock code. You can then run hdunlock at DOS to unlock your harddrive with that code!

Why the hell were you locking your xbox hard drive anyway

and

to possibly fix this problem boot your computer up into DOS and run a DOS based hard drive locker/unlocker and i wouldn't know were to get one of them cos i don't go around locking stuff

By the way if that don't work

Your screwed, buy a new hdd

i dont know if your still reading this post but id be happy to help you unlock the hd.. you either need the disk that you ran the locking program from or a paper that has the code on it... PM me if you want my help (im really good with this kinda crap)

An easy way is to hook it up to another computer, so you can see the password... then use ATAPWD to unlock it in DOS mode.
