How to inject custom map to XBOX?
Well i've been trying to find this information im missing, i cant find a way to Import my own custom map, using 3ds max, to the xbox (halo). I read that you can import your map as a big piece of scenery using HALOCE, I tried it and i did get the level in but , the collisio model wasent working.
So can anyone tell me how to fix that problem with the collision geometry or any other way to import your own custom level using 3ds to create it.

on www.halomods.com in the tutorials i THINK there is a tut for this but it might be for halo pc. I'm pretty sure its build off the same concept as halo nmp and cxe right? your going to have to edit the default.xbe file so you add another choice in the "Choose Level" folder right? I'll look around and get back to you.

Cool, i know my way around biulding new maps for HAloCe, i can create one no problem but i just dont know how to inject the bsp or inject it as a Scenery. I remember i saw a thread telling you how to inject your Haloce map as a huge piece of scenery but i think someone erased, it i cant find it anymore.

Well i looked everywhere i could and i cant find any other site that has a tutorial or even a bit of information on this, so thats why poting this so i could get some help.

I hate to bump an old thread, but this really bothers me...
I'm fairly certain that the few people who know how to do this properly have some sort of secret pact against letting it out. I swear, questions about this are posted on countless forums around the internet, but it's rare that they even get a reply.
When I finally accomplish this, I'm going to post a extremely detailed tutorial that any noob can follow and it's gonna be great. Then perhaps no one else will have to go through the horrible frustration of a fruitless search.

i can attemp to do it, but first i must get HHT5, and my xbox back, if you remember..... HHT5 can rebuild maps for xbox, and just might be able to make a ce map in xbox cache file, and still work, might have to replace existing, might not, but i'll give it a try after i get the xbox and some tutorial on HHT5 map rebuilding.
*hint hint* bitmaps are stored into the cache file in xbox, and halo ce maps as well, that's a plus, about the sounds i'm not sure, but if they are, it's even possible to get a full conversion done, like let's say.......zelda mod, but who knows....*
