How do u make a gun turret?

How do u make a gun turret? My friend told me to lower the gun turret on the warthog, then use spark edit to place it on top of a BG base. I tried that and the whole warthog still is visible and I can still drive it. Can someone help me with this?

download dmauro's mod pack... it has the turrets in it as a separate ppf

What happened to CLuis' turret tutorial.. It seems to have vanished. I know I can use DMauro's turret mod, but when you patch it, SE3 will not load. I was wanting to bring a turret in then be able to duplicate, etc.

ok, i found, but i am bummed out now as I would have to replace my warthog to use. I wish we could duplicate these things so I can bring in a new model.

anyway, if you wanted to use sparkedit you just need to make all of your changes, then apply the inject.ppf patch
