xbox modding?
xbox modding?
i have an xbox with a mod chip and nmp. I can also access evox. Can someone just tell me how to download new levels off this site and how to load them on my box.
Some people ask me why i'm obbsessed with halo. I say why not?

1.) Well first you have to go to File Forums

2.) Then you have to download a mod you want if you dont have cable it sucks unless they have it in ppf format
3.) Un rar or unzip the folder (if you dont have to then dont becuase you cant) then put it somewhere easy to accsess and turn on your xbox and open the map you need for the mod and kill somone jsut to be sure or get a checkpoint if it is SP
4.) Connect you xbox to your comp using a crossover ethernet cord and open up something that can tranfer files to the xbox.
5.) Once your connected open up either the x,y, or z folder which ever contains the cache files (ie. cache 003.map)
6.)Ok the multi player maps are cache 003.map to cache005.map and single player cache000.map and cache001.map
7.)Rename the mod to the correct cache name (ie cache003.map)
8.)Tranfer that file and click yes when it askes if you want to overwrite
9.)Open halo and play the mod you downloaded
there ya go your all set
