make certain strings in a rtb a color

im making a program and i want to make it so when ever there is a "if" it will turn blue

and if someone puts a "//" in a line the rest of that line will turn green

i cant find a way to do this
o and i mean when they type in a richtextbox
im using vb 2005

You might want to also check out QWhale, it's a great library...
