As in the title, should i give the HSE team for CE a run for their money and create a dedicated serverside prog that is like HDSRC, but with server chat player names, kicking and banning, and with some build in devcheats

Do whatever you feel like doing. At this point in time, I think it would be a waste of your time, IMHO.

Well, there's always plugin support if you wanted to code a plugin. Saves you time writing all the stuff we had to write to parse logfiles and stuff....

The ModuleDevKit will be out soon...

At some point before the ending of this year, there will also be Halo PC support, so HSE will not go to waste if CE dies and in some way it will stimulate CE...

OMG betrayer, j/k...besides from the ingame cheats (yeah, like those will be appreciated, they would also require client side joining to reduce lag when making super jumps and crap...not gonna happen through us) all of those features are in..at least in my interpretation of them.

Yeah Keihatsu is better off using the MDK for making such a thing, saves time and is just as good useable.

As I hear from KaptainKommies reply he has given up future on HaloCE, and I must say, with halo2 the chances I will be playing haloCE are, besides from room-lock-ups, slim...I do think that when HSE will keep extending to what we planned and had in mind (to do list of 3 meters or something) just for PC it will stay being fun and maybe make people more aware of the Halo2 in HaloCE.

I hope Sentinel hasent gone into complete oblivion, but if you guys dont feel like working on it anymore, then the HSE team will still want to take over where you guys left and support it where you guys dont feel it is of any use anymore. (this is just if you guys are at the brink of deleting the code and all...)

I dont see much use for HDRSC, because of its lack for PC support and because it still has to start, on the contraire of HSE and Sentinel, after HaloPC&CE's peak.
For Sentinel and HSE there will be a future IMHO and with their HaloPC support do that what gearbox and bungie cant/wont do...make better servers.
