Hog Run

I decided to move my map to a new thread with a better name and such.
Today is the third day ive been working on this map. I completed the little teleporter buildings. Ive also pretty well finished a secret room. I cant tell you anything more about that because its . . . well . . . secret. The majority of my time however was spent going through everything else ive completed and deleting unneeded polygons.

Thats a good shot of the catwalk ramps and the hog run ramps. In between the ramps is the teleporter building. Inside will be a shotgun, a needler, some grenades, a health pack, and the teleporter.

And thats just an overview of everything ive done so far.

Is anyone really good at making terrain bitmaps (the big bitmap that covers the entire ground)? I could really use some help on that because i am horrible at making that kind of stuff.
It is a long and narrow canyon. The hog run will take up the center of the map. On either side of the run will be the cliff walls. On either end of the run there will be a dirt incline leading up to the base. Both sides are completely symmetrical.
If you have some spare time id really appreciate it if you could make one. Aside from the above paragraph you are basically free to make it however you want. I dont care what type of terrain it is nor where dirt roads and other stuff are. If you do make one you can email it to me at '[email protected]'. Id dont need this anytime soon so take your time.
A big thanks from me beforehand for anyone who takes the time to make one.

We don't allow people overusing color like that here shifty. Cut it out.

ok looking at the size of the doorway i can roughly estimate the size of the MC,
now if it is that big, then this map is HUGE. i really reccomend making it smaller.

right now its 1025 gu long.
Could someone give me the size of MC in generic units?

he is 70 high and like 10 wide or something, i know for sure he is 70 high
edit: shifty using those bold texts all the time is really annoying, just use normal text

u should make the track have loops. and, u should make the track elevated really really high over lava, so if u fall... U ARE DOOMED! and put a dragon down there.

that'd be no fun, or maybe it would i guess, but if it's hog run then u want to b able to do a hog run w/o many obstacles right? just a thought
EDIT: yay, some amount of posts that i have!! lol

meh.. the bolding don't bug me that much.. i don't mind.. but. then again.. my screen res is 1280X1024.. so.. everything is small.. i think it looks cool the size it is, maybe you could also release a smaller one scaled down a bit for those who are put off by the bigness of your map. looks cool, i look forward to your final: whatever size it is....

Firstly. I bold the text so that i can tell at a a glance which posts are mine. This helps me immensly and i will not stop doing it.
Anyway. I havent posted because ive been on vacation. Consequently i havent worked on the map either. I should be getting back into a normal schedule now though. My map needs major editting.
That's it for now.

Dispraiser, you did make a good lava effect but.
You need to make it a .tif for tool to notice it and make a bitmaps tag for it.
But it is nice.

Are you sure you installed Bliztkrieg right?
Make sure you follow Vatoloco's read me.
1. Verify you have the 4 .dlls in this folder in your system directory. If not, copy the 4 dlls (not the .dle) in this directory into your Windows system directory.
WindowsNT - winnt\system32
Windows9x - windows\system
Windows2k - winnt\system32
WindowsXP - windows\system32
2. If you copied the 4 dlls into your system folder, you'll need to reboot before you can run MAX with the Bliztkrieg plug-in.

Um.. That lava has to be a .tif for tool to make bitmap tags with it.
