HEK- 3Ds Max 6 Problems

I have a problem placing my "sky" into the 3Ds 6 box model. :roll: Whenever I try to place it in, it takes the map outline (from Paint Shop Pro 8 ) and places it on the "ground" and "sky". I've tried over and over to fix it but could not fiqure out what the problem is. :x Any answers to this?

make sure the material ids are seperate, and the texture is multisub

The material id's are seperate, and it is Multi/Sub Object; and still does the same thing.
