HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

well, this is my first map in the making. you guys probably will just say "that looks like a tutorial from Gmax!" well, your right. i followed a tutorial for my first map. i added more stuff though, like 4 extra base building type stuff. here is a pic.


its a very easy lookng map, im hoping i will get into more complex, coolor stuff. i haveta apply the textures...but..

I have no idea how to. kirk4's video tutorail explains it in 3ds max, and gmax doesnt use the same material tools as 3ds max. so once i can make/apply textures, ill be sure to give you an update.

lol, i was just about to mention that those towers were from the gmax tutorial, then i saw that you already mentioned that, i hope it comes out good!

Looks like it will be a fun map when its done, keep it up.

lol.. i couildnt figure out how to make the spiral starcase!
