or u can go to their site to get the trial but u wont be able to use max to model for halo at the moment, until hek, to make it "easy" on yourself just use milkshape, its most stable program for halo right now

uhhhh didnt understand that at all, when u export from hmt its a obj file then u import that obj file into milkshape then u do what u want to it then export as an obj and then import as obj in hmt

k, assuming i have both files open, HMT and milkshape, how do I export a weapon or vehicle and save it as a .obj file and then open it in milkshape? All the files I save are .DDS, how are u exporting these models from HMT3?

oh u are saving the bitmaps, thats not the model, in hmt go to pc models and find the one u want that will save as obj

I just got milkshape, and I understand how to use it. The thing I don't understand is indices. Whenever i change a model, my indices are way above the original number, what are they and how do i bring them down? Even when i change one little thing, the indices go up a 1,000 or so.

You have to pick the one that is the furthest up.

you might need to reload hmt, b/c that sounds like a hmt or halo problem....
