Error on exporting?

ok when i try to export the model i get an error saying there are no actors to export then says module failed and one have help for me

Make sure you have a frame and your model is linked to it.

how do i check to make sure there linked?

Just press "H" in 3dsmax and select "Display subtree" this will show the frame on top and everything that is linked a bit on the right
