I ran a search and found none. I was wondering if you need to UVW wrap the walls of the Map Box (instead of the walls and ceiling being +sky in the skybox) for the walls of the Canyon or if you can use two UVW maps or what?
Thanks for any help.
Edit: to be more clear, have the ground faces one UVW bitmap, and have the Wall faces another UVW bitmap, or how do you do it?

in case katarn is not online:
select faces>uvw mapping set values change tieling and then convert to editable mesh.If you want to apply the uvw map to the whole thing just go out of face-selection mode

Thank you Katarn and Patrick, Although I need something a little more in depth, I can figure some of that out, I tried to get you both on aol, I guess you weren't online, I will try later though, again, thanks for the help.
See... I am ok at doing these kind of maps, but I have a good Idea for a Canyon Map, thats why I wanna take it to the next level

All right, CMDR Resevoir (who should get a medal for this) made a vid tut for me the other day, and I am very thankful, only I am not getting the same result as the vid as far as applying the bitmaps in the canyon. (probably not in the right order, but you know what I mean) First I made the box, converted to editable poly, hit the 'M' key and clicked keep old material. Then I made it a Multi-sub object and had about four materials listed and a different color for each one, just for practice. So I selected the whole box, dragged the material thing over on it and ignored backfacing. I hilighted a face and and changed its material ID to 4 (pink) when I unselected it, it was grey. So I tried the ID of 2 (green) it also was grey. Everything I tried didn't show up. Is there something I am getting wrong?
Thanx for the help.
Edit: griffenmaster showed me what I was doing wrong, I didn't deselect the model before applying the texture sphere thing, instead, I was selecting the entire thing, lol. Thanks man, hope this helps anyone else who has had the same question.
