Halo 2 assualt rifle replacing the pistol.....

How about this. Extract the sound the Halo 2 AR makes from the various videos it appears in. Create a replica model of it with GMAX and texture it. Open HMTv3, inject the Halo 2 AR sound into where the pistol's sounds should be. Inject the new AR model where the pistol model should be. Now you have a working Halo 2 AR, that is almost equally powerful and funtional (zooms in to 2x, etc..) as it should be. Also, there must be a way to configure the MC's hands to be placed on the model accordingly, like just duplicate the way they are on the existing AR or something.
Now, someone tell me, is this possible??????
If not, will it be at a point in time? Soon?
All answers appreciated, thanks.

I made a battle rifle awhile ago that acts just like the battle rifle in a halo 2 but it looks just like the assualt rifle and the targeting reticle looks just like the pistols.

Ok. When HMT3's model injection is done, and I've finished the BEVEL tutorials in 3ds Max 6, i'll start to work on a Battle Rifle to replace the Assault Rifle. It wouldn't be fair having two rifles

You've got the coding right. All you need is a model which I'm working on

I actually think that sounds from the e3 trailer. It is possible to rip it from the trailer using a program called GoldWAVE.

This is not possible, because you can't overwrite the model with more polygons. At least, not with the current version of HMT (v3).
