Slower speeds are completely tolerable over losing the whole site all together.

What about memory? Are we going to be able to upload content here, or will we have to do it off-site?

I think it was better that we upload off-site anyway beforehand. It wasn't really necessary.

well, sort of, but after a while, external sites don't work, and many old files that I think are really good are on dead external sites.

So, I think We still need internal uploads...

I'm glad to see this has been resolved. My oldest internet home still lives on! :)

Good for you.
That's useless here.
Read the thread.

a good host that i would recommend would be "site5" http://www.site5.com/
depending on how long you buy you could be paying $3.50 a month for 1'500gb of web space and 15tb of bandwidth a month and unlimited websites (sub-domains)

would also offer
Dual 5130 Xeons (4 cores!)
At Least 4 GB RAM
PHP 4 & 5 (w/Zend Optimizer

Useless.

why would you say that ?

Because that information is useless to the situation. Had you read the thread, you would see that is not what it seems, it is not feasible for this site, and we already have a solution.

In that case, do we really need this thread to be open? Or is this one of those threads we shouldn't lock...By we I mean staff ;p

I just think it would be better, save staff copying and pasting answers 30k times.

Is the halomods being moved right now?
There are no ads, the main page doesn't work (halomods.com),
and using files.halomods.com doesn't work anymore.

Just wondering.
