If I had to stand in line for a day for something, I'd keep it. But the PS3 sucks so I'd probably give it to a friend or brother or something, but I'd most likely smash it to pieces and feed it to my 360.

You would be surprised. Last year when I stood out for my 360 we had to hang out in the electronics section in Sears. A bunch of us got on EBay on one of the display computers and there were 360s going for $5000+.
People are like that. They will pay a large price just so they can be lazy and have someone else stand outside at 1 AM for them.

As far as consoles go, it will stand Xbox 360>PS3>Wii INITIALLY.
The price is just such a large setback for the PS3 and the fact that it doesn't have a large launch list. Once it gets far enough, it could become better than the 360.

Time will only tell...

I dunno, I think the Wii will come in second. Even though Nintendo has respect for it's customers and makes thier games fun, the 360 is having a BIG year. The 360 is going to have all of the biggest anticipated games comming out. The Wii is just going to be kickass fun, and the PS3..... start digging a grave.

PS3's games are more likely to be around 70 because of the special type of disk they have to use (what I heard anyways).
At least Xbox's games are worth buying, the only Playstation game I ever enjoyed for a period of years was Grand Theft Auto Vice City, until my damn PS2 wouldn't read it anymore

You can't just say this is better than this is better than this. That just makes it seem way too simple, and the console wars are not simple. Each console has a chance, and not one is definite to be the winner/loser.

Winner is a biased term...It all depends on what you consider the game to be...Profits, North American sales, world wide sales, 2007, 2012...The only console I'm remotely interested in is the Wii...My age may have something to do with that...Though, I was worried the wiimote would end up being more of an aggrivation than an innovation...And several of the reviews I've read have said sometimes you'll want to do one move, and it'll interpret your motions as something else...That just never happened with button mashing...Personally, I think Nintendo has already won, realizing gaming is about games, not about cpu power...Factoring numbers is about CPU power...

Everything else to compare is a waste of time...It's like comparing GM/Chrysler/Ford...There's too many variables, and no defined rules to say which one is the current "winner"...Lots of people buy all of them, because lots of people think they're the best...Just like when comparing the big three, you never lump Honda and Toyota in, thats where Wii is...It's not really competing, it's not selling sheer the volume, yet it's doing just fine, in it's own little corner of the market...And to keep with the analogy, odds are the Wii makes more per console sold than the other two...Just as the japanese cars make more per sale than the US counterparts...

So...I don't feel there is a game to be won...I do think the PS3 and the 360 are for all intensive purpose the same console in a different box, selling the same message, playing the same games, with everyone buying the one they believe...And I think Nintendo's ideals of where the industry should be fall in line with mine...That doesn't make them better, or worse, win or lose...
