So Long, And Goodnight

Post by VoYdE »

Well Im Sure Ill End-up Back Sometime after the infamous Halo 3 modding comes along. But anyway, after a nice chat with beef (should be an admin) great guy. And sadly after the events today, i will be retiring from the world of halomods to pursure other things like designing websites and increaseing my other computer skills (networking/cisco). I Could go on for about 2 pages about whats wrong, (dont say "well how do you think we can make it better") the way i would say to make this site better is Stop The Corruption! People get to higher places because of it, and its super clear! People moved up in positions and they dont deserve it! There's TONS of spammers around here, posting nonsense, and things with no relation to the topic. And For the record (OFF TOPIC IS SPAMMING!)

Spam - "Spam refers to electronic junk"
Off topic - "JUNK! pointless to the post or topic!"

Another thing, it seems like there is no good people left, yeah T_H_C and Rav, (congrats) And of course Wes my dear dear boy. but all the new members come here spam get their posts up and expect to be worshipped? I Dont understand why the people who do nothin and help no-one get the things others deserve. Yeah Somemembers may have more posts but really contribute nothing besides helping the system become more corrupt.

"i can do this for you"
"thanks"
"No prob"

Simple transaction, no. Make the person who just got something like you more! Its Stupid And Immature.
Also most of the "Caretakers here" have very little clue on even how to mod some of the newer things, there is not one "caretaker" who has a giant amount of knowledge to help anyone with any problem in the halo 2 forum. they just "freeze" the items which are reported. Without the reporters they would be doomed. Some "caretakers" i dont think even know how to Mod anything anymore.

And I Clearly Began To Ramble So Ill Just End this.

TeamHLO.com - will still be the hawk which guides you all, more along the lines of watcher, until h3 comes. (Dos your in charge)

And I May Be Back,

In The Words Of The One Decent Person Here

" HM Is Like A Drug "

CoRrUpTiOn! Lock It, Cause You Know Its True! So Dont Deny It.

edit - one of the newest mods is only a mod due to corruption, (no offense) but its true. Nothing against the newest mod, but he doesnt know a whole lot about any type of Halo Modding, Nothing to help the community! and everyone should know he sucks up to Admins/JA/Mods with GFX and Such thats the only reason that he is a mod, and he doesnt deserve it!

I beg to differ. There are many people that have.

See you on your h3 forums Voyde :P

I do agree with him, a lot of people do go off topic and stuff when people need help and they have to have thier questions aked in a way before he gets any help at all.

It's really been great having you here man. I hope that when Halo 3 (or H2PC) is released the community will revive from the death that it has been in for these many months. I look forward to seeing you then! Of course I will bother you on AIM every once in a while

I share all of voyde's feelings on this, but i jsut can't seem to stay away, this damn place is like cocain or something, i jsut can't get off it. i keep hoping maybe someone will come to their senses and clean out the spammers. (and i secretly hope that the Great Ones like MonoxideC and Deadly_Shadow will return)

meh, i'm depressed now
