So I think we're at long character/word count in a modding board post, with more of those long posts equaling higher chevrons, and the higher your post count at the time the emblem was given out, the "higher" the emblem color.

Agreed?

Might it be the longer the post the higher the chevron?

I think it's more likely the first part of your post, more long posts = more chevrons. The color and number are determined simply by the number of posts you had at the time, that is correct.

Then why wouldn't you have it? You've made several extremely long posts pretty much everywhere on these boards.

Tural wrote:Weird bug. Incidentally, I notice Grenadiac's current user ID is 88488, whereas it would have been like, 1 before the switch. I don't recall what emblems Grenadiac had, but I'm guessing those are it. Deleted accounts, having no user ID, appear to default to user ID 1, which would have Gren's emblems associated with it.
Gren's user number got changed for some reason, and now deleted accounts have all of his emblems, and he has whichever are assigned to user ID 88488 (None).

Clearly whoevers giving out emblems now has no concept of what they're doing...Several people have ONI now who shouldn't...They're basically ruining the emblem, as anyone who's ever been granted such a privilege to give them out knows what dilution causes...Idiots...

Who cares.. Emblems' meanings are torn now.. Whoever's giving out emblems is doing a poor job. I know what my ONI is for and understand that... And same with Anthony's, (where's kornman00's?), and pokecancers. But grimdoomers and Veegie's don't make sense.

Yea. I mean I was kinda of pissed when I didn't get anything for the couple apps and the research for halo 2 I posted, but I mean really I don't deserve ONI.

Would it happen to be for research? Because Pokecancer, Kornman, DeToX, Anthony, Veegie and myself have all posted research somewhere. But yea someone is going emblem crazy >_>

[Editted] It actually feels good to be listened to. I've felt neglected since the site was handed over. Thank you for listening.
