1. I don't want to have to get to know more people, I prefer smaller communities.
2. I want emblems to still be around.
3. I don't want to have to keep typing 'files.halomods.com' and realizing it's know forums.halo....'

Who knows, maybe I'm just afraid of change.
1. I can sypmathize...I'm sure a lot of people won't really like people from the other forums, but we'll still be family.
2. I'm sure they will stay around.
3. I'm sure we could work a redirect.
My biggest issue is probably the emblems.
I'm just in-love with my Pi emblem. Barely anyone has it, and no one has it as their first. So it makes me feel special.

Bah. I should have kept my bloody mouth shut. I had it at one time... people figured it was for tutorials, but I disagreed because I never really created any tutorials... right away the emblem went away, but I guess it confirmed what they had said :p
As for the URL, just bookmark the forum and you won't accidentally type in files.halomods.com.....
And as for the emblems, I'd also like to see them on the new forum. But the Users Forum has never even had emblems. If the new forum doesn't have them, you'll just need to get over it.
Sorry if I missed it, but, when is this "snapshot" supposed to be taken? Because, I think it would be nice to know, so I don't like, go on a posting spree after the image is taken.
Ah, just tell me when it's all over. I'm fine with whatever you guys choose to do. This is an internet forum; it's not like I'm moving to a new city or country or anything.
Then again, I have actually been outside. I can see how others in this forum are bothered by this.

I'm not sure about the private forum, but it'd be nice to have a user group for members from each forum. Or maybe an emblem representing that you're from files or users. That is, if we still have emblems after the merge...
