Wrong AGAIN. It's the gameplay. You people babble on about graphics, but that's only SUPPLEMENTAL. Half of you still play starcraft, and you are still whining about graphics.Elite_commander wrote:One thing, you guys shouldn't be wining; OMG IT SUCKZ BUTTOCZK OMGOMG!!!
For the millionth time(not on this forum, but still) i say: Its not the case that counts, it's the graphics.

well, in some cases, graphics dont matter to me. like, Super Metroid for the
SNES is still my fav game, and thats a sidescroller. But if its MEANT to be
3D, it should have good graphics.
cause, if you think about it, the first thing that comes to your mind when
your playing a game is how the graphics look. And if the graphics are
horrible, it doesnt matter if the gameplay is good or not, people dont
care as long as it has bad graphics.

I miss teh days when games were HUGE. Like Shadow warrior, EVERYTHING was destructable, you could slice guts into pieces, and that into even smaller pieces, and then you would spike grenades, and be able to swim, have nuke chips for RL's, infared chips for Rl's, drivable tanks, drivable almost anything, turrets all over, huge well planned levels. You know, the good stuff.
Not enough effort is put into games anymore, shadow warrior had like 5 times as much content as games today do, incluing Halo 1, and two.
BTW that game got me hooked in gaming.
BTW, I only got to play it a few times, and the only times I did, it was on a Hotrel demo disc >_<, until my dad got pissed and smashed it >_>. I never got to beat the demo! I Dled the game online a while back, and found my computer couldn't run it! BAH!

Ever heard of Mass-production? If IBM knows about massive orders of a (no doubt somewhat simplified and cheaper) chip in advance, they can produce them much more cheaply. Plus, think Xbox 1 - Celeron processor. One way they made it cheaper without sacrificing too much power.Katarn wrote: With these specs however, it will cost up to $1000 to build, and perhaps $1200 to buy.
My question is this - M$ has hinted at running Windows XP on this device, not to mention that XNA will be supporting it directly. So how in the world are they gonna run x86 software on a PowerPC architecture?
