[Map]A skinny evening at Fort Demonsword

Post by bibbit »

Here it is, my first ever public mod. It's just a little skin on Burial Mounds I made and was eager to release. Not sure what the ground is, sort of grass/dirt stuff I guess? Anyway, the 'hog, ghost, sword, and the map are skinned and I darkened the lightmap just a bit, so the ground doesnt blind you. I love that sword! Let me know if the patch doesn't work, as this is the first time I've made a patch. Hope you like it.

And I used UberLightmapTool, and I'm mentioning it just for Aequitas.

I like how every thing is skinned.... but I don't like how the textures used don't seem to support a theme, and they arn't that great.

Well first, I was just eager to get this out, so I didn't work TOO hard on it, and theme?!? Are you out of your mind? Do you see any theme whatsoever in this skin? I didn't think so.

I'm sure I've seen this before. Did you post a preview or something?

Nope, seems like a creepy coincidence. I just finished it yesterday.

If this was all made in MS Paint, then I'd say he did a damn fine job on this skin.

I did indeed do it all in paint, I did indeed use the airbrush, and I do indeed thank you.

I give you credit for skinning the hog's turret. Normally you see people who don't...

Do something about that ground texture and I'd say this is a pretty good skin considering it was done in MS paint.

At least I waited until I had something that was pleasing to the eyes... Buddy keep working on this and for the luv-a-god don't use those Crayola colors...

I don't like it. It's pretty random, and the ground is just terrible.
