The abstract lines and the lettering seem out of place. I like the spartan, though. Good lighting.

I like the first version more, although I think I would have made the armor closer to a gray color.

The avatar is quite difficult to make out.

It's his face, it's easier to make out on my moniter, would you recomend that I use it?

I only know what the avatar is because I've used the render before. But I would imagine it's too difficult to make out for most people.
